TOW#617 — The time is now!

If you want to do something you’ve wanted to do all your life!

If you want to go somewhere you haven’t been!

If you want to say something you’ve always wanted to say to someone!

If you want to change style!

If you want to learn a new skill that you’ve always postponed due to a lack of time!

If you want to try a new recipe, food, diet!

If you want to start a new job!

If you want to finish an old job!

If you want to ‘go wild’!

NOW IS THE TIME!!!

Have a look at what’s happening around us. Everything’s gone crazy. Nobody knows what’s going on. Disasters, crises, threats, catastrophes, fear, paranoia, lack of money, viruses, division, discord, madness! If you continue to go along on this frequency, it’s very likely you’ll go crazy too. Now is the right time to live like that old saying “the village is burning, grannie’s combing her hair”. Those who know me, know that ever since this Covid thing started I’ve been advising people to not lose their minds — just look after your mind. Because in this kind of (world-wide) environment, it’s very difficult to remain clear-headed and untouched by the madness.

Of course, please don’t simply take what I’m saying and finally go do ‘that thing’ without carefully considering all aspects, risks and reactions if you make that move. You need to be prepared for anything that could happen, and be sure that you’ll have the strength, energy, and finances to endure it. In any case, the idea is not to simply ‘go wild’ and do something silly for which you won’t be ready to bear the consequences.

Still, before making any risky move:

1. Think, feel and sense it in your gut. If all three levels tell you that you should do it, then proceed. Because very often the mind and heart are in conflict, and some things that we think are ours are, in fact, of the environment.

2. Risk calculation — not so much what the risks are, and whether you have an alternative, but more whether you’re ready to bear the risks and consequences.

3. Consult with someone. Just keep in mind Rumi’s words: “When setting out on a journey do not seek advice from someone who never left home.”

4. Take a deep breath. Relax and just jump in. Make that change already!

5. Enjoy the freedom!

Wishing you success with the changes to come,

Petar Lazarov
